Parts Please??

So does anyone know where I can pick up a couple of new headlight assembly's without breaking my wallet ( as if the maintenance isn't already expensive enough on this thing lol)

Are yours broken.... or just hazed badly? If it is just hazing, you (or your significant other) can buff them out pretty easily and they will look like new.... finding replacements will be EXPENSIVE if new and difficult if used...

ha no significant other.. just me. i used a clearing solution once before and it seemed to break up the haze a little bit, but i never took the foam pad to it. maybe i'll have to break out the old buffer!! thanks =]

And whose fault is that?

Where do you live? I'm sure someone is most likely near you, that wouldn't mind helping you out.

I think Mother's makes a reasonable kit. I'm about to be chivalrous and test that puppy out on my girlfriend's Accord. Her passenger side light looks horrible.

Mine, thank goodness, are still crystal clear.

I had my headlights refinished by my local bodyshop. They sanded them down, buffed and polished them. They sprayed a clear coat on them to protect and to make the finish last. They did this to my Nissan Frontier about 2 years ago and they still look new with no maintenance. Charged $75 for the two headlights.

Thanks for all your help! i'll try the mothers kit and then if that doesn't work i'll try the body shop route. i went to the dealer to price out new assemblys and they wanted over $600 HAHA!!

depending on what your headlights look light the mothers kit might not work. it might be clear coat and if thats the case wet sanding with meguires platix is in order. i did mine a couple of times that way and they turned out 20 times better but its not 100%. even if u take it to a body shop its not gonna b one hundred percent
