going to the Dragon what would you take along?
going to the Dragon what would you take along?
as the title says I am leaving for the Dragon on Thursday at lunch 6-24 and meeting up with a bunch of Subaru friends at Fontana village. What would you take along on the trip?
I have so far:
- spare tools (mostly just the basics)
- spare air pump
- tire plug kit
- new crank sensor
- OBD2 reader (I needed this 2 years ago for my Subaru and I'm not leaving without it again)
Anything else?
If you are local and see me running around stop and say hi and even though I am with a bunch of Subarus they are not the "fart can blow off valve" kind of people.
Before anyone says it...yes we know part of the Dragon is closed...there are other great roads down there to play on too.

Re: going to the Dragon what would you take along?
I read on here that they go bad without warning and that they are cheap to buy and worth having a spare around since parts are hard to come by for these cars. If I was with a bunch of XF's I wouldn't worry about it but with a bunch of Subarus I'm screwed.
There is a post in this section about a place online and how to install it and all that stuff. I spent about $50 for a sensor and a new oil filter and hopefully that will buy me some peace of mind.
