Default Newbie question re buying a xfire

Looking at a 2005 Crossfire Limited Coupe with 39K miles. Dealer is asking $11,900.
Do you think this is a reasonable price or should I offer less?
Thank you

I would offer $10.5 and see where you guys meet. It is not a terrible deal, but many are being bought for $10k or less. An '05 with less than 40k miles should be around $10.5k.

I just sold a 04 with 58k for $9950---it was in GREAT shape. Headlights perfect, not one door ding, clean Carfax, good tires, automatic, etc. If it is an automatic (they sell for $500 to $600 more) with great tires ($700 to $1000+), it is worth $10,500 to maybe a little over $11,000, but that's it. KBB has avg. wholesale @ $11,900, but I have seen lower. Good luck---Make sure it is a ZERO paint work car---too many good ones out there!!!!

Offer less but it is the best 11,900 you will ever spend.

I just bought an '04 with 49k miles in perfect shape for $9750. No door dings, clean Carfax, no headlight hazing, perfect leather etc...... Mine is a standard, as I wouldn't drive an automatic. An '05 for $10.5 with less than 40k would be just about right.

Always offer less than you want to pay !!! Because the dealers always come back with a counter offer just to see what your willing to go !!! So start out a lot lower than what you want to spend because they are going to come back with another offer !!! I just lov playing their games & making offers & buying cars !!!! Good luck !!! Im thinking tops would be around 10,500 to but its all about what you really want right !!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys,

I got mine for 10.5K
2004 with 22k miles

the color that I wanted, white
and the interior that I wanted red and black

He gave me a new oil change
a cover
and a full gas tank
he came to pick me up at the airport another $100 saved for the cab

the car was immaculate ///// Headlight were perfect, no defect

I was really happy

Guys let me tell you my story

i was in love with the P1800 volvo but lacked of power and obviously technology

then I found the xf , which i never considered

But then
I understood it was a modern Volvo P1800 style
a nice engine
nice car maker/... MB
cheap to maintain....
affordable
crazy awesome design
cool tires
fun interior red/black.. i really dislike the grey... i find it killing boring!
Nice sound system .....

So this is my story

and what i like a lot too are the exterior mirrors.
I find the design better than on the Lexus IS.... a bit F1 style, but on the XF they are just proportionnate etc...

My best

I am in Houston, PM me if you guys want to go for a cold beer

Max
