infinity Navigations no voice

Default infinity Navigations no voice

Can't seem to get voice on navigation. everything else works. I have read manual and looked at other threads but can't find solution

Have never used the navigation in this car before and thought top try it

Suggestions?

I know this sounds too simple, but be sure to turn the radio volume **** when instructions are being given.

Maybe you got the model which used American Sign Language.
Can you hear the radio at the same time you are using the navigation feature? You have to have the radio on and the volume turned up enough to hear. That's basically what wallace pruitt is saying above in post#2.

I hear the radio, but nothing else. I would have thought the navigation voice cuts the radio off. Is it just turning the sound higher?

No, it does not cut the radio off it just lowers it and you hear it over the top.
We have an expert on this type of problem and he goes by the name of rcompart, if he gets involved you can expect real suggestions and ideas.

From the manual.

(Maybe the problem)



Turn off announcements by pressing the left **** for
more than 2 seconds during a navigation announcement.
Route guidance will only then be shown on the
display. Turn the navigation announcements on by
pressing the left **** again.
