I love my SRT coupe, but I fell in love with the vert after I bought it. I never saw a srt-6 convertible in person and didn't think I would like the wing on a vert, so never even really looked for one and settled on a coupe. Found the best deal in Kansas, so I flew out there, picked it up and drove back to Ky. I kid you not, I saw a beautiful blue convertible with a wing pull up next to me and fell in love. The hot blonde driving may have had a bit to do with it though. LOL For the older guys out there, I had a Clark Grisswold moment. I nearly broke my awesome new car's fabulous cupholder! LOL

03/23/10 BIG H Regular $14,500 63,796 Avg GRAY 6G A Yes
06/17/10 HOBBY Regular $12,700 70,110 Below BLACK 6G A Yes
The guy must have been "stoned" in Denver at $17,360---maybe the thin air? I would recommend that you bought a SRT 6 from the owner anyway. I owned a tire store/ repair shop for 10 years. We did a lot of mods, and I would like to talk to the owner on a high performance car---they are different. On the other hand, the N/A's do not scare me because they have a proven drivetrain. Good look on the search!!!! Jimmy

[quote=huskercubfan]Guy said the car was "super rare" and they aren't interested in even moving $1,000 from the price they asked.
hahaha.
For reference, got the auto auction report. They bought it for $9,100.[/q
A little FYI. I am going with a 78 year old lady tomorrow to see a 2004 Crossfire, white, 35,000 one owner miles---asking price $10,900 here in Nashville. I am meeting her and her mechanic there to see the car. She called me on an old ad that I ran for my 04. She was so cute talking about how she just LOVES this car that I called her back and offered to go see the car with her.
My point is NOT "super rare" just found one same color, miles about the same for almost $4,000 less asking price. We'll get this car for $10,500, if it checks out.

Here's some useless info, (but true). 2004 Crossfires aren't called "Limited".

to the op, you have some great info here.
my take on the deal is this. take cash!!! never more than 2k over wholesale to buy a car and leave your trade at home.
the 11k price is more than fair.
heres my example. i just bought a 2005 nissan king cab frontier with 41,000 miles. retail was 15,500 wholesale was 11,000 and i paid 13,00 out the door. everybody walked away happy!
i also combine the kbb and nada prices to get a fair avg. good luck!
