Cheap bar stewards.
I want one, so I guess I'll start looking. I want the exact medical kit and the triangle.
Dealer probably can get you one at a premium price .

I've probably made a more useful first aid/emergency kit that's pretty compact and hangs from the "umbrella hooks" behind the seats. Thinking about buying some more road hazard stuff though, like road flares, and sticking it in the trunk somewhere. I don't have much of that.

Let me guess, the emergency kit for a 20 year old would contain a bottle opener and a packet of condoms.

Actually, as I look at all the (old looking) pictures of me from the dragon... your remark makes a lot of sense!

In the extra hole in my trunk, I have managed to shove a set of jumper cables.

2 of the worst places to keep them. It will get too hot in your car in the summer.

Yeah, I know. Most common place for people to keep them though. Not trying to provide too much information, but girlfriend's on the pill anyways. You figure the rest out.

Sometimes I put on the rear foglight briefly when someone is following too closely on my tail. It appears that I have braked suddenly. Or that my brakelights are malfuntioning. A safer following distance ensues pretty quickly after that.

Someone should mention the garage opener, and then tell me how it works

Just do a search on the net for HOMELINK you'll find instructions on how to set it up.

Thank you! now i can finally program my driveway lighting

Edit: worked out great, got christmastree and driveway programmed with simple/cheap receivers. Just a "on" button in the car i think can't seem to shut the lights down with homelink

If somebody already said this I'm sorry but, on a roadster when you put the top up, the windows are down, when it beeps let go of the button and press it again and both windows go up.

You can "double tap" it either way.. for windows up or windows down.. top up or down..

Haven't seen an addition to this thread in awhile. Here's something I found out.

We know that when you turn off the ignition and open the door, a chime goes off to let you know that you have left your key in.

I found that if you pull the key out and stick it back in, the chime no longer chimes!

I've known this since I got the car. ( same is true for my wife, she only chimes the first time )

I know you asked this years ago but you are still on the forum. Yes some of the early 2005's had glossy consoles - my roadster was built while they were still making the 04 coupes and it is glossy - build #24111. But not lucky enough to get the auto dimming mirror

Neither was I, but $20 from a salvage yard and about 30 minutes time rectified that.

Question Re: Things I learned

I need the instructions for getting the key fob to work after it stops. I took the car to the high pressure car wash in the spring and it stopped working.
Nobody knows how to work on it. It's not the battery in the fob. The lights go on/off. Neither fob got wet
