Dose it work on the car? If so where can I get em and what do I have to do. I just wanna b able to lock the front brakes an spin the rear, I got a 6 speed manual. Before I did my brake rotor an pad upgrade I was able to do a standing burnout to top 2nd gear now I can't do it cause the rear brakes grad to much so I wanna get a lock kit. Thanks for the help

I am pretty sure there was a thread on this subject a while back (last year?)... I think it was a kit for the MB of course....;)

Rudy is up on that. A regular line lock will not work...something to do with the ABS system if I remember right....ask the Rudy...I worked with him on it, but that was a long while back...I have a line kit, but it won't work on our cars....so, if anyone interested for a regular american made car...I have one...

There is nothing special about the EVOSport kit, just has the MB specific fittings. I have driven a few cars at the track with the EVOSport line lock and have not ran into any issues.....i wonder what is different on the Crossfire VS SLK

the evosport kit is all you need. it uses 2 solinoids and metric fittings. cost is 450$

Re: front brake line locks?

I guess a line lock is nice but I manage to get into 3rd heating the tires. Once they start spinning just upshift manually. (and be careful of those spider gears) Actually, my best times are when I didn't heat the tires at all. But I'm a slow amateur after. Seriously, do you need a line lock or just want one. (Listen to me, I want loads of useless stuff)

Re: front brake line locks?

yea, line locks wont work with abs, as iirc the right front and left rear use the same circuit and the left front and right rear are on the same circuit.

plus with traction control on, the car would have a hissy fit
