Very sad day... But proud of my pictures!!

Why couldn't it have a back seat....

It's a very sad day!! I have to sell the best car I've ever owned! With a baby on the way I need a back seat.

I'm not posting this here for more exposure, I believe it's sold, but I'm VERY proud of my pictures and thought some of you may enjoy them.

Great pics and clean XF! I was in the same boat many years ago...spent waaay too many years in a minivan. Now the kid is off to college and the minivan was traded for an XF! Woot! Don't worry, they grow up quick!

Great pictures! I'm trying to put off having to put a front tag on for as long as possible. Yours looks so clean without one!

I saw that car on ebay and wondered if it was a forum member. I love the pictures!

I hate to say this.... but I had a baby recently and decided to keep the crossfire in the garage. I drive it less frequently now and have an SUV for daily use. I told my wife I would never sell the crossfire and she knows not to fight me on that. It helps to have it paid off. I am actually hoping I could enjoy the car for the next 15 years and then pass it down for my child to enjoy.

GREAT pix... and that engine compartment with 82K miles.. WOW! What devotion!

If it's possible, you should just 'stow' it and save it for the kid... good idea!!!!

In any case, realize that kids are wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more important than cars :)

well, the kid has a great father to give up his ride, and display a DARE plate....and yes, they do grow up fast, so enjoy while you can....

Wow that's quite a sharp looking car. Great shine and in excellent shape. Good luck with the sale. I'm sure it will go quick.

I know someone that sold his favorite motorcycle years ago to buy an engagement ring. Ended up divorced 35 years later with 3 grown kids. No regrets on life.... but still misses his bike it to this day. Plus the kids wished he never sold it.

The point.... if you can avoid selling it then don't. If you really can't and absolutely need the money then by all means sell it. You never know.... your boy or girl may one day wish you never sold it. Maybe they would want it 20 years from now.

Your pictures ARE better than most I see for a car for sale.

(Nice touch with the background you used! ;) )

Any potential owner would know that car had been loved by the way the photos were taken. No one takes pictures likes that if they don't LOVE their car. That is no weekend pic taken in the driveway after its first bath in a year....

Congrat on the baby,:) sorry you have to sell the Crossfire.:(

Before you sell it, I'd love to have that "Tilt" wheel you mentioned in your ad.:p

My bad ..... congrats on the baby!!! You know those things will hold a child seat, right?!?! You might have to leave the wife at home or in the hatch! :D

Congrats on the baby, that will be a love affair that will last the rest of your life. I really enjoyed your pics. It is evident that you love this car and have taken great care of her. Keep her if you can and if you can't I can't think of a better reason to have to let her go. Good luck.

Great photos! Sorry you have to sell. You do know that the back of the passenger seat has a strap for supporting an infant car seat?

Re: Very sad day... But proud of my pictures!!

Thanks for the compliments. It really is(was) my favorite car ever. It's been a great 4 1/2 years. If i didn't have lots of other toys, I would keep it, but the garage is full.

Over the years I didn't post much on here but thanks to the "search" feature on this site, it's been a great asset.

Thanks again, and I'm glad you enjoyed the pics.

AND...fireamx... What do you mean about the tilt wheel? You say that like i made a mistake. It's been a while since I've done it, but I would bet money that it has a tilt wheel. Maybe I'm confused.

Telescoping...not tilt. Sorry if I'm butting in.
