Unhappy Winter Has Arrived

Well, I thought that I would make it home before today before the snow started to fly, but no such luck. We have been getting away with murder this fall with the nice weather. Yesterday 75, today 32 and snow. Life in Colorado...

The inevitable has arrived, The weather terrorists here have been telling us the snow you got is headed here.
I will give them a 80% chance they are wrong, and cross my fingers.

I hope that you can make it without snow. An hour later, the roads were covered:

Why isn't that car in the garage where it's nice and warm?

The roadster is in the garage. My wife has informed me that her Jeep will also stay in the garage...

Ack!

The car has been totaled by the snow!
It's nearly worthless now.

I'll give you $50 to take it off of your hands.
I'm doing you a huge favor, since it's only worth $25 now, you know.

Poor car...
Having to experience snow...

So, how were the Goodyear F1 A/S in the weather/
I didn't expect you to come up with the answer this quickly when I asked you to test the car out in winter weather back on Sunday, but hey!
Good lookin' out, there, buddy!

BC.

Lol, I'll pass on the $50 offer, but thanks. The snow hadn't really stuck the road yet when I was driving home, but they seemed to do fine on the wet pavement.

If I never see that frozen **** again, I'll be very happy. The misery does, however, make Spring a lot nicer and a lot more welcome

That's it, your 2 XF ownership license has been revoked, the door is open in the snow???????
Sure treat the coupe like a step child, given all your love to the roadster in the garage.....

LOL! I haven't tried to open the door since I got home. The snow will be gone by Saturday and I plan on driving it down to Colorado Springs...

Evan - I just checked with some Chrysler engineers who advised me that it's a scientifically proven fact that Jeeps like snow more than Crossfire coupes.

Feel free to share this research with your wife as you slide the coupe into your garage next to the roadster.

Good Luck!

Evan, you must talk to your wife and collectively get your priorities in order. At our house the 05 SRT coupe and roadster are inside. The 09 Traverse,09 Cobalt, 08 Sliverado 2500 outside. Tell her one of the Crossfires belong to her. She will question that as you continue to drive both at your descretion but a little reassureance from you will do the trick.Get that coupe INSIDE. Or maybe it is time to add on. See you at the Dragon in the spring.

I have tried that particular argument, but no such luck. It was the compromise in order for me to get the 2nd Crossfire...
