Default Speedriven Loves Crossfires

It's true and we now have Rudy (rcompart) as part of our team to prove it. As a way to show the Crossfire is just as at home in our shop as it's bigger V12 Mercedes bretheren, we're offering an oil change and vehicle inspection sale. For $95 out the door (that even covers Uncle Sam's cut) you'll get an oil change with Mobil1 0w40 synthetic oil and genuine MB fleece oil filter and a comprehensive vehicle inspection to to make sure your car is ready for you to put on the next 7000 miles. We're also offering a sale on all service work through the end of September. Call and ask us what we offer and how we can help you out.

Sounds great... I am going to drive all the way up from Texas for your 95 dollar oil change. JK

I see you have spammed every section on this forum. No offense.... but do some local advertising! This is not that type of forum. If you want to advertise here talk to the moderator and put an ad up on this site. Or post some threads with your ad at the bottom in your profile. Just offering my 2 cents. Not trying to offend... just trying to help.

I know Rudy is a big player around here... you are lucky to have him.

By the way, I would go to you if I were local. I won't let anyone touch my car anymore so I do it myself... but I would let you guys do it if I could.

Congrats to Rudy and too bad the shop is slightly more than a stone's throw from Terre Haute.

Sorry you guys felt it was like spamming. It was my idea to hit all three sections as some people go right to the coupe section, right to the roadster section or right to the SRT6 section. I would have seen it anywhere it was posted since I always just hit "New Posts" but some don't so we didn't want anyone to feel left out. Anyways, still happy to be here on the forum and happy to now be in Palatine working on cars with some pretty serious power and be closer to more owners.

BTW, talking about owners, BigKid is in town and he has his SRT. I'm not going to be able to change my plans around but anyone wanting to meet a fellow owner/crossfire connoisseur, shoot him a PM and maybe see if everyone can meet up.

Take care

He's local to me to and I have already had service work done by Rudy on my Crossfire at "Speedriven" even before he was officially on board with the shop.
Needswings (Rob) and rcompart (Rudy) did it !!!
He replaced my fuel pump and fuel filter provided by Rob @ Neeedswings.

Together the people on this site who support our cars and our needs are the best.

Welcome Rudy and Speedriven...a team in place to serve us well.

Gary

I was in the shop today and met the guys when i dropped by to see Rudy. They sure have some nice MB eye candy around and a great shop area. My car is going in first of the week to resolve some minor code issues and maybe a tweek or 2 before the Dragon.

It was only a 13 hour drive for me but worth it to have one of the masters check my car out. I am sure they will soon be doing a lot of Crossfire b
work.

I know my car has been worked on by Speedriven during the final stages of the swap, and there is a video to prove it!

Rudy.... I agree with downward spiral. My first response reading his post was spammer. But since he dropped your name it kind of makes everything ok. Lord knows we have been hit by real spammers in the past.

I spoke with Jim last night and I will be seeing him this weekend.
Gonna try and round up some other locals for a GTG probably on Sunday afternoon.

Congrats Rudy! I hope this is a great move for you. At least you are getting a little closer to Dallas I am thinking of buying antother car so my Crossfire won't be the daily driver. I am thinking of buying a CLK500 convertible and throwing in a 55K.

Dropped my car off with Rudy and the guys this morning. They quickly identified problems with the installation of several components that were done by another shop that does not specialize in MB engine work. One that could have started a fire that might have destroyed my car.Rudy was on the phone to Rob for parts needed amd I was feeling good about the situation.

I hit a pot hole yesterday and they found a dent in my drivers side front wheel. They had the contacts to do the work and my wheel will be back tomorrow good as new.

For any of you out there that are not wrenchers and have doubt's about the shop you are useing here is your answer for 100% confidence in some one to work on your car.

Thanks Speedriven

I visited Speedriven and Rudy this morning, and had my oil changed and an inspection on my red coupe. No one else will touch my car except them. Their location in Palatine is only about 35 minutes from me, and I feel sorry for those of you that aren't close. I will be bringing my car back and leaving it for a couple of days, while they straighten out some issues so I will be set for winter. Wow ... totally impressed.
