I'm in Xfire Country (Florida)...

:p :p :p :p :p :p :p

I just completed an 1100+ mile road trip taking my Xfire from NY to Orlando for it's winter reprieve. This was accomplished over two days.

The car was an absolute blast to drive, my $hit eating grin will testify to this.

The car performed great, as expected, and I managed Fuel religiously via UltraGuage.

The stated MPG was 28.5, using 15.8 gallons as the tank size.

Is that possible as I was running for very long stretches at relatively high miles/per/hour, usually the low to mid 80's...???

I was figuring that 55 to 65 was the sweet spot for MPG.

Anyway, I'm trying to adjust my schedule for the Daytona Event, and get to meet a bunch of you all.

Ahhh, the Sunshine State, I'm in pig heaven...lol...

Welcome!

And it seems that you brought some of the cooler NY air with you. Thanks.

See you later this month in Daytona!
:)

And you couldn't have timed it better. The weather has cooled off some and my car came back to life this morning! Hope to see you at Daytona! :D

I get that kind of mileage all of the time. On my trip to Denver and then California this past July\Aug. I sometimes got 30 mpg at 79 mph average.

I get that mileage all the time too. Most people here do as well. I find that if I am on the road with nobody around and I set cruise at 70 mph (the legal limit near me) I can get 32 mpg. But during the day with other cars on the road I have to slow down and go around people.... I only get 28 mpg.
