The Crossfire is gone...
The Crossfire is gone...
After 4 years of owning my Crossfire, it was time to part ways. I can honestly say I will miss my car. It was a good car that didn't spend much time in the shop. Had it not been for the factory warranty running out, I would of kept it longer.
I bought a Infiniti G37. It can never replace the uniqueness of the Crossfire and the looks I got from people who thought it was a cool looking car. While the Crossfire handles much better in the corners, the G37 smokes the Crossfire in power. So be warned, if you attempt to take on the G37, make sure there are a bunch of corners to slow it down.
Thanks for all the help and advise over the years, Jim
Picture of the old and the new. (yes the salesman left the wing up, grrrr)

Re: The Crossfire is gone......
Congrats on you G37 coupe! Those are nice vehicles. Sad to see another member leave the family , but I have a feeling that you will eventually purchase another Crossfire from the way you talk about your old one. Don't be a stranger to the forum. Once a Crossfire owner, always a owner at heart

I like the G37's as well. Plus, they have a back seat..................minus, they have a back seat..........
Good luck with the car. They definitely aren't as good as the Crossfires in the twisties, and while they are alittle quicker than the NA Crossifires......... it isn't all that much according to most soureces......althought a half second can feel that way

A G37 is a really nice car. To me it's a 2+2 Z car. Where as I never much cared for the 2+2 Z's (when they made them) I really liked the G37 as soon as it came out.
I probably would have bought one, but a snooty Infinity car salesman sized me up when I walked into the show room and couldn't be bothered going to the trouble of letting me test drive one. (He saw me get out of my 1 year old Honda Civic).
Just as well, If I had bought one, I probably never would have wound up with my Crossfire. So it all worked out good in the end.
I'm sure you will really enjoy the Infinity.
