I was checking out an '04 coupe this weekend and I could not get seat low enough for my head not to rub. I'm just short of 6' so that seemed pretty strange to me. Headliner appeared to be shot so could it have just been sagging real bad? Thanks.

The seat rails are sort of sitting on an arch. If you can move it back more, it will be a little lower. I'm 6'2" and I fit OK. Of course, there is not much open air above my head. Maybe your liner is sagging. Hope not.

must be the head liner Im 6 ft & have no problem with space at all !!!!

 

There is a height adjustment, the entire front adjustment switch moves up/down, it may have been set high otherwise it might have been sag (although pushing up on it would be the easy way to tell.

 

Try moving the seat ahead a couple inches and recline more.

im 6 ft and fit perfectly. The seat in mine is kinda hard to get down though. you have to pull the lever on the left side and force your weight down on the seat, but mine is difficult to get down. Still, you should fit fine

 

I am 6'4" and have the seat raised about half way up and have no issues with head room....leg room is in short supply but I love the car so I sacrifice

I'm 6 ft and . . . .
I had to fight me eleccy seat for the seat position, but managed to raise the front of the seat, get the back angle I wanted, then back the whole seat into the rear bulkhead hard & have got it just about right now.
