The later years came out with the Roadsters, SRTs ('05 only), Base, and Special Editions ('05 only) .
On the Base models, you don't get the big amp for the stereo, Black paint only, no window surround (silver part on the others), no silver side strakes, cloth seats (no heat), and maybe a few other minor things ( someone else may help me on this.
The '05 Special Editions are all (I beleive) Inferno Red or Blaze Red (not sure which), silver surround, silver strakes, and SRT wheels, and maybe a few other minor cosmetics.
And last, but surely, not least, the SRT6s. What can I say, hand built, supercharged, AMG V6 with 320 HP motor!!! WOW!! I beleive they beefed up the suspension on these a bit. And a few minor cosmetics on the cabin interior.
Best thing is to look for the color you want and milage you can afford, stick or auto (SRTs are auto only).
Hope this helps...:)

This is VERY interesting. I haven't bought mine yet. I'll be looking harder a 2004's.

I don't think anything can be reliable in NYC except a Crowne Victoria or those old cabs that looked like a 50s car. The potholes knock the crap out of the suspension and electronics. I dread going anywhere near NYC or NJ with one of my good cars. The perfect vehicle is a 66 Buick Skylark (or equivalent Olds) with a 4" pipe welded front and rear as bumpers. That said, I own two Audis (2003 A6 2.7T and A4 3.0, both MT6) and they have been pretty darn reliable at 206k and 101k, respectively. But there are a few things that don't work and frequent CELs for the cats and SAIUs for the A6. By contrast, the XFs at 41k, 20k have been problem free except for the TPMS warning on the roadster.
