I like the illuminated door sills and am going to eventually get them, but why don't they have some that are the same color as the rest of the illumination in the car :?: :?: :?:

 

Forum member BobaFettm was investigating with a vendor (www.formymercedes.com I think???) that said they would offer sills in other colors. Haven't seen any follow-up on that in a couple weeks though.

 

Hey david your illuminated sills look green. I guess that is just the camera distorting the color??????

They are definately a light blue, approaching cyan. Concur though a color that matched the rest of the interior illumination (or a way to change that to blue) would be desirable. There's a thread about changing the dash lighting, so far it's believed there are 100+ little LED's that would have to be hand desoldered and replacements soldered in place. Bummer.

 

I'd be all over the green ones.......anyone have an update?
