Default no way for us to add the srt6 front chin spoiler...

i was hoping to add an srt6 front chin spoiler to my 04' crossfire but after viewing the srt6 in person...the lower spoiler is molded to the entire bumper as one solid piece. the only way to make this upgrade is to add an entire srt front bumper.

the other changes i noticed to the srt: (besides the obvious)

- the silver trim on the entire center console is matte finish (like the radio)
seems to be a change of all 05' crossfire's

- the inside of the exhaust tips are now black

- no self dimming interior rear view mirror (manual flip) :?

- all season tires available for the srt (surprised considering it's performance level)

- off white stitching on the steering wheel

the seats are awesome!

I was going to swap out the front bumper to get that spoiler too but I'm having trouble finding a DC dealer that can get one. They all say no status as to what the delivery time is so they don't know when or if they can get one. I don't understand this, does that mean if a SRT6 gets into an accident, they replace the bumper with a standard one? I'm getting the impression that the Chrysler support folks no nothing and don't want to know anything!!!! So far I found if you can get one it will be about $280 not installed or painted.

$280 for an entire front bumper assembly? thats not bad at all. add another $50 or $75 for paint, and install it yourself.

im disappointed its an entirely new bumper. i was hoping to add the lip as well.

I wanted to add the front lip spoiler as well.. but cmon... $350 for an entire new bumper painted, just for a stupid extra inch on the bottom?

It does look hot, but it's not worth $350. Damn.

Please see my post: "Don't Break Your car".
The slow boat to China would be faster.
I concur about the Chrysler folks not knowing anything!
Tread lightly.
