Brembo Rotors & Rotex Gold Pads

Well I have to say the Brakewarehouse guy Randy doesn't lie, everything he said about how much MORE performance you can get from cross drilled rotors is true alot more bite and almost 0 fade! And as for the Rotex gold pads they are excellent quiet and almost 0 dust. I recommend them both you'll see and feel the difference. I also have the stainless steel brakelines. Total cost parts $400 front only on pads and rotors. $100 total labor.

Ooooo nice job Dan!! :)

I'm debating that same setup on mine.. I enjoy the rotex pads myself...
but it all comes down to this... If I upgrade my rotors I switch my class in SCCA anyways... so I'm thinking of going all out with the full 14in braking kit by some company plus some nice brembo rotors that will snap on with them also... its either two opinions this winter... (my baby is going away in a few week to the pole barn...)
a) BIG ASS braking system to help me in Autocrossing **Which I've been doing very well! 28 / 165 at the Season Ender!!!!**
b) Supercharger + upgrades to the engine to make the baby do better 0 - 60 and fun street things...
or...
c) Your same setup + a lot of body work such as Carbon Fiber parts + add on's...

Enjoy your brakes Dan!

I would order from here those brake guys do all the stuff for NASCAR, they use brembo blanks and drill & slot them, then plate if you want for nicer looks. NO rusty holes!

As for a better bigger system I think if you have a couple grand to throw at it go for it, I'm very happy with this setup. And I've driven the Track model 350z with Brembo calipers. These now feel as good or better plus their cleaner.

You paid someone to install brakes? Don't take offense to this, but I'm just trying to understand the mind set of someone who is "performance oriented" with their car, but cannot operate a wrench and a floor jack.

He might not have had the time, or just didn't feel like doing it. I replaced the springs and struts on my car, but I'll still take it to the dealer for an oil change sometimes if I have other things to do.

What does performance have to do with mechanical labor? I've never done brakes on my cars since i was a specialist and since I'm not into mechanics and since most mechanic shop have all the correct tools and a real lift I'll let their insurance cover my car. My hands have karpal tunnel also.
