Crossfire & Wind Noise

I just got done test driving a crossfire (04) and noticed significant wind noise on both windows. It seemed as if they were down just a tad, but they weren't. So i took out another one, it was still there but seemed more faint.

My question is, is the wind noise a problem or is that how the car is?

Just my initial impressions:

pros:

definately handles well
good throttle response
sure footed

cons:

transmission seemed different than my RSX typeS
wind noise

Thanks for all the input.

Doug

There is a TSB out on the window noise. Tell the dealership about it and they should fix it. Mine doesn't have any wind noise. Some have had the wind noise, but gotten it fixed.

My own car the passenger window hits the weatherstrip and I always have to let the window down and reclcose it ,but that isn't that all Crossfires do that.

If your used to quiet cars the XF is not one of those! You might want to drive a Jaguar.XK8

OK. here is the bottom line. I can get an 04 Alabaster White with 3,000 miles on it for $24,700. It seems like a good deal to me, can everyone confirm that it is good?

Also, what do you suspect resale will be for these cars in a few years?

Good Price.

As far as resale currently resale is not that great:

PS.
But like my old man always says, " There is a ass for every seat!"
It all depends on what someone is willing to pay

Re: Crossfire & Wind Noise

the vin number ends in 008865

i live in pittsburgh, can't find anything below 29,999 for 04's here. nobody is dealing. have good deals in california and orlando but costs are but it over the edge in transportation fees.

I'd say you found one then , at the most it's within your reach and you can see it without flyin 2000 miles . Always my choice make the best deal you can find locally.

I have had mine in five times or there abouts and the noise has just gotten worse. The dealers I have taken it to suck!! One took 30 min to figure out how to reset the FSS display after an oil change.
