Default Windshield washer reservoir failure

Reservoir leek? is this a common failure? Never used plain water, always RainX. Any place other than dealer for a replacement?

A common failure, the weight of the fluid appears to weaken the area where the reservoir is supported and it leaks around this area which is in the bottom.
See this post on the repair.

Here is the support area that weakens and leaks.

Are you sure you just didn't over fill it? It only holds 1 gallon when the dash light comes on. Anything more than that will leak out onto the ground.
