Talking Hi Everyone!!!

Hi everyone, this is my first post since buying my XF. I have an annoying rattle coming from over my shoulder, sounds like it is coming from were the seat belt enters the panel. Has anyone else had this problem, and how do you cure it?

Someone on here had a bolt come loose in there. I don't recall who, though.

I just bought my xfire as well. I have the same exact rattle but mine is coming from right around the passenger side seat belt holder. It is on my list for the dealer to fix when I take her in.

I have it too but the dealer can't hear it so I'm arguing with them to fix it

I Have just found out that it is the plastic screws under the panel that are not pushed in properly. Mine had a parking sensor fitted in the factory and they would have had to take the cover off to run the wires through, so it looks like it hasn't been put back together properly. Think a trip to my dealers is in order.

I had a vibrating rear sub behind the drivers seat. A lot of other people have reported the same problem. They must have had a batch of dodgy speakers. My dealer replaced it with a new one and all ok now.

And, WELCOME TO THE FORUM. :-)

Thanks for the welcome. I would just like to say that i have never had or seen a car like the crossfire in my life. I get people stopping in there cars and people coming over to my car to ask what it is. You feel so superior when you are driving a XF. Well done Chrysler.
