New X-Fire owner, question about neck pillows
 

Hi everyone, enjoying my new Graphite Crossfire Coupe. ONe thing I'm trying to figure out is that I've had neck problems for a number of years, and back problems from my car from three years ago after getting hit by a n 18 wheeler. I find the bucket seat placement in the X-Fire to be comfortable in position for the back, but in order to make it more confortable for the neck, makes the position more unconfortable for the back. I've tried a neck pillow to make things more confortable, but I'm afraid it isn't working. Any suggestions?

Our cars aren't very comfortable (my opinion), so in regards to the neck pillow, i don't know what tell you. Maybe getting one of the massaging seat covers and adding some more cushion to the upper back area perhaps will alleviate some discomfort.

In all honesty though, the crossfire isn't for someone with body aches.

i have a piece of my spine fractured off and have severe back pain. i find the seats to be good especially when adding heat all the time.

much better than my acura rsx s.

Damn, i'm impressed you were able to stay in the RSX then, they have zero padding and no heated seats option

I would love a tilting headrest option. Can't beat BMW seats!
I though about fashioning something to rest my head against.

You mentioned a massaging seat cover, I'm not familiar with that....is that sold at auto parts places?

Would having the seat in as upright a position as possible be helpful? That's basically how we walk and stand. I rec'd a compression fracture of one of my lumbar vertebrae and have some slightly bulging discs but find an upright position works best. Too much recline and everything slumps. A lumbar support (even a rolled up towel) to maintain your spinal curvature may help.
