Default Accelerating/gear box issue?

I was driving yesterday and everything was fine until I came up to some traffic lights and went to pull away and despite the car revving and RPM's going up, I was not moving and it stayed at 0mph.

I've only had the car 3 days and it was has run perfectly up until now. I turned the engine off and on again and it pulled away until I stopped again and the same problem happened again.

It seems the car is in limp mode and every time I stop or change from Drive to reverse the same things happen.

There are no warning lights on but having looked at the transmission fluid it seems to be brown and smells burnt?

I am going to change the fluid and filter, if I do this and it solves the problem, will the car come out of limp mode itself? Or will I need to something else?

Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks.

Wish I could help but the roadster is a manual and the SRT6 is healthy so far. Any CELs?

doesnt sound good bud if fluid has a burnt smell to it, changing fluid and filter will do no good transmission is probably toast, transmission fluid should always be red if its brown means transmission is getting too hot
