"EXCLUSIVITY" A Thing Of The Past
I was driving the 101 Freeway in LA yesterday and was surprised to see a SSB Coupe' a few car lenghts ahead of me. Then after getting slowed in traffic, I glanced in my rear view and noticed a Blaze Red Coupe' behind me. A few miles later I spotted a white Roadster a couple of lanes over...
All in about 15 miles of freeway... Oh well, I guess the club has grown... PS all of the cars were new, without plates... :( |
Re: "EXCLUSIVITY" A Thing Of The Past
Funny that. In Scotland I still only see 1-2 a month if I am lucky. Exception would be mine of course.

Re: "EXCLUSIVITY" A Thing Of The Past
I've been seeing more recently. 3 in the last two weeks between Glasgow, Stirling and East Kilbride. No roadsters though. Thankfully we're still a relatively rare sight in Scotland.
R Robertson - what colour is your XF? I've seen a black one parked outside offices in Renfrew when visiting a client there and remember you saying that you travelled to that neck of the woods during the week. |
Re: "EXCLUSIVITY" A Thing Of The Past
Ive been seeing more and more of them here in New Jersey. Good thing mine is a little different so that it stands out. However I'm surprised that most of the other owners that I've beeped at or waved to, don't seem interested at all. It's more of a "why is this guy beeping at me" type attitude that I've been getting, although some people are responsive and smile and throw the thumbs up.
Anyway I guess for most people its just another car, their not enthusiasts like most of us. |

OK,
I know NE Ohio is big, but I havent seen any around my area, it sure would be nice to hang around with other XF guys. |
Re: "EXCLUSIVITY" A Thing Of The Past
its the same with my skyline, not many about here but you get the old nod of mutual respect when you pass one........ nice feelin makes all the hard work and tuning worthwhile

Re: "EXCLUSIVITY" A Thing Of The Past
Exclusivity still applies here in the Cleveland, Ohio area. I've only seen one other Crossfire since I got mine in late August. It was a yellow convertible parked at a food store where I shop. If any of you are in the Cleveland area, let's touch bases about how our Crossfires are doing in the heavy snow we had this week.

Re: "EXCLUSIVITY" A Thing Of The Past
I know ALL of the owners (5-and all from the same dealership) in my area and have only seen one other. In fact I rarely even see THEM on the road except at GTGs. Even when the XFi Chapter has gone on 600 mile Cruizes we have never seen another on the road.
I have seen T-Birds, 350Zs, S-2000s, TTs, Boxters and ten thousand Cameros, Mustangs and Corvettes though!!!! I've seen more Prowlers on the road than Crossfires!!! |
