Default HID Head Lights Advise Please

Hi Guys and Girls

I live in the UK and am thinking of upgrading to HID Lighting..I have been looking here in the UK and the kits available and so far I am not impressed. I have been reading the threads on the forum and I like the look of the Morimoto system. I have been told I need the Morimoto HD Relay harness rather than Standalone Canbus harness and a Capacitor relay. If anyone has fitted this system to one of our XFire's could you help..as the system is not cheap after paying the shipping to the UK..Thanks Everyone for a GREAT !!..Forum

I have had the Morimoto's for about 3 years now, no problems.
Mine is installed with the Canbus harness, NOT the relay.
Upon installation, one of the Canbus harnesses fried and theretrofitsource immediately replaced it at no cost.

I recommend you remove the headlight units for installation for 2 reasons :
1. It is much easier to get the HID bulb in with the spring connector.
2. You can mount the ballast below where the unit sits on the flat frame plate there.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

I even recieved an email from them just before Xmas asking how the lights were working.
Go with them.
