Still 2.69 for reg here in rochester,ny. Boy do I love this state...

 

93 PON for $2.35/gal and the south Sam's Club. I usually go to Sam's or Hess because they have 93 and not 91.

Then for the XF I fill at 1/2 tank alternating 93 and 89.

 

Bad news ....BP VISA CARD apparently not continuing their "double down days" in 2015......bummer....during 2014 I got 400 gallons for only 10.9 cents / gallon.

 

One "club" station a couple of miles away at $1.99 for premium but most in mid-$2.20's.

 

$1.84 yesterday today $2.19 come on !!!

 

I started driving back around 1967.....I can remember gas around 17 cents a gallon.....of course I was only making 70 cents an hour working in a fried chicken restaurant.

In 1978 I bought a brand new Corvette for about $12,000.....gas was about 60 cents.....L48 3 spd auto 16 MPG. Only 180 HP....Slow-beautiful-but slow.

 

I bought gas on base for 14 cents/gallon in 1965 ( cigarettes were 90 cents / carton )
