Default '05 crossfire 107k miles $7k

Hello,im thinking of purchasing a crossfire but I want to know if thats a good deal.It looks pretty clean and has 2 previous owners but the autocheck report seems vague.I have a sedan now so this will be my little fun backup car...maybe 5k miles per year.Is this a reliable car and is the maintenance really expensive? Thanks in advance ☺

After 12 years you are going to see more and more multiple owner cars. Although the miles seem high, these engines can go 200-300k with regular maintenance. However you should inspect and test everything you can and if you know a local XF owner/forum member, invite them along to help. Most of us are quite willing and knowledgeable.

They are not Honda-cheap to work on, but they are not extraordinarily expensive. Most maintenance items can be ordered online. Your biggest regular expense is 8 qts of synthetic oil once per year. I only drive mine in the summer, but they get oil changes before winter storage. I also at 10 years had all the fluids replaced, which was probably $500-600 per car.

My daughter is thinking of selling our 2007 base coupe. I bought it new.

Always been in the family - I gave it to her after 6 years of my use. 78000 miles. What do you folks think it's worth?
