RED DOG would, I'm sure.

That is, if he weren't running from his own home right now.

Just sent you a private message. Sorry to hear about the car. There are a few nice ones on AutoTrader this week if you are considering replacing it. Two very good low milage SRT's and several non supercharged cars. One SRT actuallly here in Houston.

Thanks for the heads up...but I've just purchased a used Tahoe

I actually had bought the crossfire for my daughter but she changed her mind and wanted more space so she returned it to me and I drove it to work and back...ended up really liking it.

Will do...I'm letting the mechanic take care of all his other business and putting my crossfire on the back burner. As you can imagine he has more than he can handle right now.

But as soon as he starts pulling parts I'll post on here and ask anyone who's interested.

Hi James,
Thanks...sad...but that crossfire in your pic is exactly the way mine was before the flood...I had just picked it up from the shop on Friday...the day the storms began in Houston...:-(

It's sad to see so much needless destruction.

A good saying but why if he is so helpful, did he mess him and all the others up in the first place? Killing some at the same time.

Please let's not turn this into a religious or political argument.

Let's just talk about the matter at hand.

My best wishes go out to those affected, many having lost all of their possessions. I hope that they get better treatment than those that suffered in Katrina.
Rebuilding on flood plains is never a good thing though, but the politicians hate to alienate their public.

The cars parts have more value than the whole, unless you can find someone with the time and knowledge to DIY the repairs. I feel your pain .... I'm in P.R. without power or water, drat you Irma!! I want a spare hood and front fascia but I'm kinda cheap. I wonder what shipping would cost to P.R. Unrealistic for me obviously but others are out there if you have the time and will to disassemble and ship parts.

Well, I hate to say it, but there are going to be a lot more Xf's suffer water damage. Parting it out is the only way to recoup any of your money. Fenders, door skins, ever quarter panels are scarce for these cars, so parting it out is the best way. Don't sell it for $300 bucks.

The coast is like living in the Garden of Eden. Its beautiful, peaceful, inspiring..........
BUT:
I have a policy: I do NOT live ANYWHERE that I may find myself running from my own home. SCREW THAT.

NOT SAYING that I do not have compassion for those going thru this, just saying, I dont' need the aggravation.

Besides, living in paradise didnt' work for Adam and Eve - and it aint gonna work today, either.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Thank you for being a responsible Crossfire owner, and trying to dispose of the car properly. So many parts are worth much more than the price the Insurance will pay or that you will incur if you would try to sell it whole. The Headlights are worth $350 each minimum . I will let our NW owners know you might have things they can use. Be very wary about buying cars from these areas, as most owners are not as scrupulous as you.
