Things I Wish My Crossfire Had....
Better shox that give a smoother ride on rough roard without loss of roarholding!
But, news i have over here in U.K. is that Koni have a new product that does just that for card like the Crossfire, Audi TT and so on, which I think they call the FSD.
The Crossfire is not top of their list for this application, but the more owners that contact them and ask for help, the sooner they will bring our favourite car into their program.
I spoke to a wholesale rep who went to Koni's release demo of the new product and he says difference on the 8 cars they let him drive was fabulous.
Crossfire is sold with right hand steering over here, but as far as I can find out, only about 100 cars a year in the whole country, so it's rarer than a Ferrari!!!

ADD 20K AND BUY A C6. I take it you didn't test drive it. I would like a a little more power as well, but am satisfied with the car as is.
It was kind of an impulse buy, plus working at the dealership didn't help, cause I saw it everyday sitting there, plus my dad and his 3 brothers work for chrysler. and I got what i owed on my trade-in, was hard to pass up. plus no one else around here has one. I see more vettes and porsches driven by older people (no offense) then i do any crossfires, and I just love the exterior style, and everyone my age around here drives around in lawn mower civics with a weed wacker exhaust.

You got mad skill, that crossfire has umber ferrari eating capabilities.
-S2000 tranny
-shorter clutch travel
-closer pedals (for heel/toe downshifting)
-SLK350 engine
-lightweight drivetrain (quicker throttle response)
-bi-xenon headlights
-rack and pinion steering
-rearview camera (at some angles, you really can't see out the back)

1) 3.5 6 cylinder (that one's obvious).
2) Color matched trim (no euro silver).
3) More ext. color options
4) Chrome-tipped exhaust split to both sides (not the center, the 'boat-tail' thing is overdone)
5) Tilt and telescoping steering wheel
6) Rack & pinion steering
7) Variable (not just intermittent) wipers
8) HID headlamps
9) Better paint protection. I've never gotten so many rock/bug chips on any car and I drive like a granny in this car just to prevent it...well most of the time ;-). My '99 Wrangler has over 100k MI all-season miles on it without a scratch on the front-end. Not easy given the TJ flat grill at 85mph on I-75!
Other than that I wouldn't change a thing! Not bad for a first run...let's hope DC justifies a second round because as we all know the exterior design is near-perfect! Not likely though since this was not only a proof of concept from a design and engineering perspective but also of the 'merger of equals'. Bring on the Firepower! ;-)

Now if you said it's because of that damn spine I'd agree 100%.
