Where do you bring your CF for lowering?

I tried Chrysler and Mercedes dealership here in Tyler but none of them seemed to have some experience in lowering cars. I have my H&R cup kit for 2 weeks.

try a local performance specialty shop...it might even need to be a foreign repair shop.

Yeah or a good wheel, spring or shock shop should be able to do it! Mine was only $150 labor.

I know you guys are out of town, but if you get a hold of ATI Motorsports here in Michigan, I bet they know someone in your backyard. www.atimotorsports.com Also, just to let you know about this place, they do a RWD conversion on a Focus and have even swapped in a late model Cobra S/C'd engine/6 speed/8.9" Mustang rear-end............$70K! and it looks factory! This place did my suspension on my Contour SVT and the place is as clean as a hospital, too bad your not local.

I finally made an appointment for Thursday in a Dallas Mercedes dealership. I'm not sure if that's all I needed...I mean just the cup kit because I've read in the H&R site that the cambers also need replacement. Any truth on this?

Camber will probably be off by -.5 to -.75". I wouldn't worry too much about -.5", you'll probably like the handling (cornering) characteristics a bit more. I would definitely have a realignment after the process. But, a minus camber will wear harder on the outside of your tires.

negative camber would wear the inside of the tires.

my car has eibach springs and koni shocks...it does have negative camber but no additional wear to speak of (after a year). of course i had the car aligned after the suspension was completed...

the rear camber cannot be adjusted with factory components in place...but no real need for new/aftermarket adjustable camber components.
