2007 Oyster Gold Coupe / 1rst time for that color!
Still looking around and came across a 2007 Oyster Gold Coupe .Months of owning a XF and reading about these cars ever day this was a first. Does anyone on the forum own a Gold XF? Lets See them if you do. I know 2007 there were not many XF's anyway so cant be many of the Gold cars. This is a low mile auto car that looks to be in good shape. 2 owner car.

I replaced the top on a oyster gold roadster for a guy in Atlanta - absolutely beautiful car.
I would trade my red roadster in an instant for one.
There was a lady in my county wanting to sell her OG coupe, don't know if she ever did but haven't seen it for a while now.

When the very 1st CAA event was held in St. Louis back in 2010, one of the St. Louis members had a really sweet looking Oyster Gold Roadster with the so-called Tuxedo interior. Might be the best looking Oyster Gold Crossfire I've seen.to-date

Just an observation from a newby. This color looks much better in person and when washed and waxed than it does on-line. I saw my first one a few weeks ago and was really surprised at how pretty it was.

I am glad you found the dealer, I believe the asking was 9800 for a 53k 2 owner car. I never cared for the gold that came from that timeframe but it looks good on this car. I totally missed the Thread on the Gold cars , I will check it out. I thought 07 was very limited number of XF that were produced so now I am going to have to inquire how many 07 Gold cars came stateside. Thanks

Attached is a file showing the global production in 2007 by model, color & market destination. There are files for the other years also.

I just came back from driving this car. This is only the third XF coupe I've driven and the other two were clapped out. However, this '07 is one very clean car...in really great shape. Everything works; rear wing, AC, radio, CD player, heated seats, everything I could check out I did...and everything worked. It was traded in by an elderly couple who bought a used Mustang and it appears to be one of those weekend drivers in every way. So, am I going to buy it.....I don't think so. I could live with the color but it just doesn't make me smile. It's a hard decision for me 'cuz I'm getting tired of looking and this is in my backyard...but I'm holding out for an Areo Blue or Machine Grey. It also has the Salmon colored interior which at first I didn't like. But by the end of the 12 mile test drive I was starting to get used to it..and even like it? The dealership (Mall of GA Mini) is is asking $9983 but they were more than happy to entertain "any reasonable offer". The salesman and sales mgr. practically followed me out to my car and then at the last moment, gave me the keys and told me to drive it home (25miles) to show my wife. (I'm lucky I didn't write the the check. ) All that to say, if you are looking for this color, this is one to check out. If you buy it, I'd like one last ride in it.
Also, as a non-owner an observation: I found the car and the seating position to be lower than expected. It really feels like I'm sitting lower in the car than with my Miata. Also, I didn't like the lack of tilt with the steering wheel. I'm on the short side and the steering wheel feels uncomfortably high. It wouldn't keep me from buying the car, but it's a bit irritating. And on a car this expensive when it was new, I find this strange?? The wing goes up and down and the steering wheel doesn't?
That's all. If it were a different color I would have negotiated a better price (7,500-8,000) and drove it home. But if you like this color...it's a nice one and they really seem anxious to sell it.
PS: This is one of those new high-end Mini dealerships that are very high-tech with the lighting and all the rest. Shoot, for a moment I thought I was checking into a hotel. Water, snacks and the coffee was great. Gee, maybe what I really want is a new $40K Mini Cooper?

It's strange what Chrysler-Benz skimped on with the Crossfire. I am still pissed that the 2004 had an auto-dimming rearview mirror that was replaced with a manual rearview from 2005 on. OTOH, I prefer manual transmissions over automatic. There were not many options either: three different dual-color seats, all-season tires, a radio with navigation (waste of money), and the automatic transmission. The luggage, received a couple months after roadster purchase, was a nice surprise and I bought three more sets about a decade later when some guy bought up and sold the remaining inventory. I also added an oe windscreen and bras, but passed on the rear defusers and customer car covers. Wish I had bought both of the latter.
