Vehicle Jacking Points
Hello all. I'm going to do my own oil change and I was wondering if anyone knows of a place in the front center of the car where I can safely place a floor jack. My intentions are to raise the vehicle enough to place jack stands at each wheel.
Problem is getting the jack to it.
I first jack up the rear by the differential and place jack stands.
I can then ease the floor jack in from the side to the transmission mount.

I was thinking about maybe putting a short piece of 2x4 on the jack running side to side and trying to lift it there. Once I got it up high enough I would then place the jack stands and let the floor jack down in order to get to the two screws for the plastic plate.
Or you could just get a Top sider oil extractor and never have to crawl under the Crossfire again to do an oil change.
I have the MityVac (MV7201) 8L capacity. Works great!

On the weekend a guy was at a DIY garage when the car dropped from blocks or whatever and was squashed.
I never heard how he fared from his injuries.
Get a topsider capable of holding more than 8 qts. mine holds 10 liters.

Okay. Thank you. I do not wish to be trapped under the car.
