Took the car out today!
I know this isn't a big deal to alot of you but I live here in SE MI where the weather sux, but today this thing appeared in the sky and everything was blue up there instead of gray! This is the first time I've driven the car since I had to get it washed from it sitting outside while I was detailing a minivan last month, but that was straight to the wash and back, no biggie. I can't wait to get the stripes on the bottom of the rocker panels in the spring. I can't remember the guys name who did this mod to his car but BIG THANKS to him for taking it upon himself, it really looks great on the car IMO! I forgot how much fun the car is to drive and how much better the heater is in it compared to my 93' Regal. Those who drive their Crossfires year round, enjoy them and wind out first gear a bit longer for the rest of us!

Heard last night that the rest of January should be above normal in the mid atlantic region, December was a mess, the Xfire was off the road more than it was on. I think I've only missed three weekend washes since I got the car in July, not too bad for this time of year. I do like that heater and the heated seats. I'm only a mile from work but it gets plenty warm real quick! Aero - hope you get to enjoy some more nice days.

Know what you mean Aero Blue...here in Ohio we have the same thing...gray skies just about everyday and of course the dreaded "salt" on the roads. Have been tempted to take mine out also but it is tucked away so cozy like I will just leave it there until spring. It is sad we cant drive our cars year around because I do miss it. I guess that is one of the pains of living in the midwest.
I got home from work this morning about 12:20 a.m. and it just started to flurry and when I woke up it was a "bit" white outside, figures! As long as it melts and goes away I'll be right back out there, the car is a blast to drive!
Yeah I wish I could say that I could enough the nice day here in Missouri with an afternoon drive in the Crossfire but I was stuck at work... Hate working during the weekend oh well thats life! Glad you enjoyed your ride to wash it and back!
You must live on a paved road Aeroblue! My roadster hasn't been out of the heated storage since November. We live on a 1/4 mile of dirt road before we get to paved, and it's just enough to get the entire underneath and behind the wheels full of mud on these milder days! I'm opting not to take it out for a while. I got a new Murano to drive on the crummy days, and I guess those include mild weather, muddy road days. I know what you mean about the sun, though. It hasn't been around much this winter! We finally had some here in northern Oakland County this weekend. We had icy roads here Saturday morning, though. It was a skating rink!!
Hi Mbepic! How's Canada these days?

Yeah, I live on a paved road, there all paved around here! Its funny because the next day, it got all sloppy again and by the time Sunday afternoon rolled around, it had dried up again. Maybe one day this week I can take it out again and enjoy!
I just got my new Crossfire a week ago and thankfully the weather has been holding up for me. I really should try to find another mode of transportation because I don't want to be driving it in the rain/snow. Hope everyone else has a lot of sunny days so you can take your car out for a long drive.
