Eric and Travis, I just saw the pics of your accident. Wow I think you guys had your angel riding with you. So glad you made it thru that and good luck with your recoveries. Hope to see you both in the fall no matter what you are driving. Be safe and God bless.

 

I was really happy to be there! I have been very lucky to get to travel to a lot of places, all over the world. I can say that was probably the most fun I can remember having on a vacation! In a lot of ways it was the dream I had when I bought the car - driving thru a beautiful, deserted road on the PERFECT day with classic rock playing as I cruised along. That image in my head is what I was day dreaming about the first time I saw a XF & what made me end up buying one. The great thing about this dream is that I can re-live it again & again!!!

Kim, I was thinking the same thing......you have 6 months to train someone to fill in for 2 days.

 

I just need a new job. The sub-prime auto business is going no where fast right now. The problem is that there are only two people who do what I do and they need both of us. Training someone else to do it would probably be training my replacement. With all the banks getting out of the car biz (esp. sub-prime) there are about 200 applicants for every 1 job. I have to watch my P's & Q's!! I do REALLY want to go though!

Maybe kidnapping is an option... they can't fire you if you get kidnapped, right?

I do absolutely love the honk bumpsticker though, especially since it is so damn true.

 

I actually love the kidnapping idea!! Do I tell them that I was forced at gun point to have a great time & run the Dragon over & over again?? I'm sorry officer, I have no idea what they looked like or where they came from but they had GREAT taste in cars!

 

That sounds like a good start. We do have a bit of time to come up with a more elaborate story though.

 

Something about they were a group of manly men! The lot of them were virile, rugged & handsome! IS that a good start???
