"The Snake" Get Together, Johnson City TN, 6/30/17 - 07/4/17
Another quality GTG.This time at the "Snake".Tons of roads to explore, and to have fun.

Dates are Friday June 30st- Monday July 3rd
The main Tour will happen on Saturday to the "Snake"
I will also plan trips for Sunday and Monday.Tuesday is Travelday, or you can hang out longer if you please.

This looks interesting. "The Snake" is nearly as famous as "Tail of the Dragon". Marked my calendar. 
Would have to hustle back from CAA-08 in Eureka Springs. But have company holidays on July 3rd & 4th, so we could make it, probably on Sunday, July 2nd.

I'm just reading about this fun event now....looks like I missed the group booking deadline. :-/
We're still making our plans for the 4th of July weekend and since there is some a few hours away in Nashville....this might be a possibility.
I'll have to take a look at the logistics and see if I can still get a room at the Holiday Inn.
Will be in touch if it works out.

There actually are better rates than the $89.00 rate available through most online booking services. We got a rate of $84.56 per night through our IHG Rewards Club (Holiday Inn's Club . . . Free to join and LOTS of perks). See you in Johnson City, TN . . .

We plan to get on the road from Eureka Springs AR at 6:00 AM tomorrow morning . . . We're looking at a 12hr 15 min trip so with stops for fuel and food along the way, we expect to arrive at the Holiday Inn at around 9:00 PM.
Have you thought to ask the Holiday Inn to set us up with a hose so we can wash our cars??

A BIG THANKS to Charlie Schmid for setting up this little Crossfire GTG in Johnson City TN for THE SNAKE. We had six Crossfires attending and I know that everyone enjoyed a couple of beautiful days driving through the TN, NC countryside on the hilly twisty area roads. Cindy and I got to meet some new Crossfire friends and we very much enjoyed our time with everyone.

We missed out on going to Eureka Springs this year due to me being delayed on my return from a business trip to China. I forgot about this GTG at The Snake up near Little Switzerland. We could have joined others this year as I did get home in time for this weekend event. But we won't make that mistake in 2018! It is a great locale!
