Default Slow shifting auto stick

I have the auto stick and while I expected quick shifts with the auto stick I instead have the slowest shifting auto stick in the world. Now I know that the computer will not shift gears if it will either stall the engine or redline the engine, but i am trying to shift the engine at 4k and it won't shift for at least 4 seconds. Now is this just the way the auto stick is designed or did I just receive the slowest auto stick in the world???

Are you at WOT or just driving along? If I'm at WOT, the transmission does not shift into the next gear (yes I'm using the auto stick) until it has reached the high end HP output RPM range... if I'm just driving along like on a Sunday morning (trying to get back home with a hang over) the transmission will shift the very second I move into the next gear... so no your shift is not slow at WOT it's the computer thinking for you... hooah

Even just crusin along it like to take its time. Could that possible be because the car is still newish?

I figured that at WOT the car was not programmed to shift because you where at WOT and the computer is more accurate then me looking at the tact.

Hello I am a newbie just bought a '05 Blaze Red Crystal Clear Coat Roadster with Dark Slate/cool Vanilla two tone interior auto-stick The auto-stick trans only goes to 4 on the indicator box in the instrument panel. It is a 5 speed, does anyone know if it should go to 5? At 70 mph the rpm is around 2,500 to 2,600 its seems very low geared to me. I feel the trans may not be going into overdrive. Can anyone shed any light on this please.

When you shift into D that is your fifth gear. Don't you feel it shift when you push it into D?

You have 1-2-3-4-D. The D is the fifth gear. Hope this helps.
