2005 Yellow 2 tone Roadster at Tom Ahl's
For anyone that watched the fiasco on eBay regarding a for sale, not for sale Yellow Roadster, there is a similar unit on Tom Ahl's lot in Lima, Ohio. Listed at $29,999 for the Classic Yellow Pearlcoat beauty with 2 tone interior. It is 6 speed, with just under 7,400 miles. I would love to see my wife in this, but she can't drive a stick, and doesn't want to learn. It's the first time she's shown interest in something other than a Sebring Convertible. But I really can't afford 2 hefty payments at the same time.
You can all help by driving up the price of some of my stock holdings...any takers? A 15% raise in NCR would do quite nicely...come on folks...help out a bud. http://www.tomahl.com/ |

Didn't hear about the ebay fiasco...teach your wife to drive a stick. It's well worth it if after her lesson she drives away in a yellow, two-tone convertible. OTOH, give her your roadster and you take the stick shift.
You only live once, you know...go for it! |
Re: 2005 Yellow 2 tone Roadster at Tom Ahl's
I guess I need to add something to my signature. My Crossfire is a stick...and I haven't had any luck convincing my wife to try it. That's how I knew she really wanted ME to have the new Crossfire, as she can't drive a stick. You know how mistakes early in marriage affect you the rest of your life??? That's mine. I tried to teach Ingrid to drive when all we had was a 4 speed. It wasn't pretty. I am a great teacher ... but not for driving. She was so traumatized that she didn't drive for years...and then only an automatic. So...I need to find a very kind, patient driving instructor for her...and then buy her the Yellow Roadster.

Re: 2005 Yellow 2 tone Roadster at Tom Ahl's
I taught my very reluctant daughter to drive a stick when we found a great deal on a Jetta for her. She was a mess during the process, and at one point, we almost traded her car in for an automatic. After a lot of tears and frustrations, she finally got the hang of it.
Driving schools will let her practice without having to take to the road. It's all about confidence, and certainly, if her reward is a great looking roadster, that might give her the motivation. OTOH, buy her an automatic in the roadster...that's what I drive, and I like to have my hands free and not worry about shifting, though I know how to drive one and did for years. Good luck. |

Mark - Come on man. After putting up with you for soooooo many years, we all know that Ingrid deserves a little happiness.
Buy her a NEW (not used on E-Bay or on Tom Ahl's U/C lot) yellow two-tone AUTOMATIC Crossfire. This will also help ease the earlier marital trauma that you caused by trying to incorrectly teach her how to drive a 4 speed. I'm sure that Dr. Phil would give you the same advice. p.s. - Try to get GolferGal to break away from the rainy Pacific N'West to join our Hocking Hills Run this fall in sunny Ohio. |

I'd love to join you, Harbor! I've got a bit of a problem...I'm a teacher, and school starts tomorrow. Do you think the students would mind if I took a road trip and didn't show up for the first few days? I bet they wouldn't mind at all!

GolferGal - How about a very, very early Spring Break (Like when it's still summer)?
Let your class vote on it. |
