New Roadster Owner

I purchased a "left over" 2005 Aero Blue Roadster Limited a few days ago with a measly 32 miles on the odometer. It was in need of a bit of cleaning so I spent all day yesterday detailing it - that's sort of a hobby of mine - and finally took some pix today. Anyway, I live in South Orange County, CA and my screen name here is the same one I use on many different forums so, well, there you have it. The Crossfire replaces my 1999 Mazda Miata and is now a stable mate to my modified 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser Turbo and a 1992 Chevy Camaro (wife's car, purchased new, but will be replaced in a year or so with a Sebring Convertible - it's what she wants, so...)

I've learned a lot from this forum already and think I'm going to be happy here! And even though you've all seen pix of an Aero Blue Roadster, you haven't mine yet, so here it is!!

Welcome to the forum Mike, great to see another PTCrewer find their way here. It looks like you have not lost your touch with that polisher. :D I'm sure you'll love the Roadster and be itching to get it out on the track. You'll have to get a bit creative when it comes to performance mods though!

Beautiful,
Is that the one I saw at Huntington Beach Chrysler? It was the only Aero Blue Roadster I have seen. I love my red one but seriously considered the Blue when I saw it. Great Choice !!! And enjoy.

As a matter of fact, yes. I found it on autotrader.com and drove by HBChrysler the next day. They actually have a decent selection and, even though I first saw this particular car under a heavy layer of dust, I knew it was the color combo I wanted.

To everyone else, thanks for the welcome! I loved detailing this car yesterday - beautiful lines!!!

I love your car...I wonder why? I have the two tone interior, but otherwise, we're twins. It's been raining here for days now, so my car has not been out to play until the sun comes out again.

Congrats and welcome to the forum. :p

So I noticed! The dealer I bought from has a duplicate of yours and I love that interior color combo (just a wee bit jealous actually!!) but since that car had an automatic transmission I had to pass. The Crossfire is not my daily driver, mostly a weekend toy, and the toy has to have a manual box.

Since I'm new here you obviously don't know me very well...I've already done it because, well, it needed it!!! I should post a picture of my detailing supplies some day!
