Finger Prints...
I have a Black Base Roadster and it seems no matter how careful my girlfriend and I are when opening and closing the doors there are always finger prints all over the car. Besides the obvious fix of covering our hands does anyone know of any waxes I can apply to the car that won’t show any finger prints after touching the paint?
Thanks,
Scott

No such thing as a "fingerprint repellant". Get in the habit of closing the doors with the door handles and you'll be fine. My other car is a PT Cruiser Turbo and it has shiny black pillars on the doors - my wife was always closing the door with her fingertips there and I was constantly wiping them off. She eventually got tired of my complaints and started using the door handles instead.
In the meantime, pick up a bottle of Meguiar's Quik Detail spray and a microfiber towel. Give the fingerprinted area a quick spray and wipe and they'll be gone. I use this all the time after cracking safes so the law can't trace back to me.
C'mon...that last bit was funny!!!
And, no, it's not true.

EVERYTHING SHOWS UP ON A BLACK CAR!!!... as Mike stated get use to using the door handles and carry some detail spray and a micro fiber cloth in your trunk.
Only problem with a base car is that the handles are black too so they'll always show the prints. At least on the LTD we have the silver paint which doesn't show the prints.
