Default New Owner

Just bought a 2005 Roadster and I am so excited to be picking it up on Friday! I wanted to look at a new one but the dealer I stopped by said that they didn't have any and they would not order one for me if I wanted to buy one (I even offered to pay in advance). Their reason was that they had several on the lot for a year they couldn't sell (funny--I drive by all the time and never saw them). Anyway, I'm excited and can't wait to get behind the wheel (I've never even driven one!) One question I have, I see a thread for a back panel (looks plastic). Does that keep the wind out of the car while the top is down and make it quieter or more comfortable?

Welcome!
I've got a red limited, but you'll have to go some ways to have more fun than I am!

Guess I will get a shorter haircut and just let the wind rip through my hair. I will be trying really hard on Friday to have more fun than you in your red Crossfire--hopefully the weather will be on my side!

Welcome! This is what I'm getting this mesh instead of the plastic: http://tuningshop.co.uk/
It's a little more pricey but is suppose to work better
Enjoy your new ride!

Just enjoy the wind ... If you don't want your hair messed up, save a few dollars and buy a coupe :-)

I had the top down today in 55 degree sunny but crisp, fall weather. I have the illuminated windscreen. It looks great! I had the heat going and the seats nice and toasty, and I had a nice ride! Enjoy and congrats on your new car!
