You're right beto, as pictured that's a nice compliment to the XF's interior paint scheme.

Can you be more specific about the Alpine unit? Is there a model number? A search for "Alpine Marine" turns up only a few Alpine speakers designed for boats...

EDIT: on further investigation, is this this your receiver? I've read that marine head units look silver in catalogs, but when shipped are pearl white....

That's why I didn't buy that Clarion headunit. I have an older Clarion unit that has been discontinued. I bought it used, because I couldn't find anything else I liked that looked right. It even has the correct illumination...

EDIT: I just looked on Alpine's site. It is indeed Silver, not white.

Th blue lighting is a problem. That's why I got the one I did. It has green lighting and is silver to match.

 

My Kenwood KVT-M700 begs to differ. It matches perfectly both open and closed and has navigation, Xbox, 7 inch touchscreen. OH and it matches the green lighting perfectly.

The color is right. Unfortunately, the review I glanced at was from 2003. Kenwood doesn't appear to have anything like it, trim wise, in their current lineup.

 

New issue of POWERBOAT magazine page 34/35 Shows three of the Alpine Marine lineup and talks about the whole lineup.

 

Page 93 of the new Crutchfield catalog has them also.
