Default Roadster Bag Luggage

After a couple of months of talking to the mfg, they finally came in stock. The only issue is that the Mfg will not sell them to us directly, we have to use a distributor. see link below. I ordered them on a Wed and they came in the next Friday. $315 US. The distr doesn't show the luggage under crossfire, they will show it under Opel GT #RC0020 See my pictures below. They fit great and as least now I have some luggage to take on a trip with the top down.

Question: I just purchased a new 2006 roadster limited. At one time the luggage was part of the deal. does anyone know if the luggage is included with new purchases?

Stupid me forgot to discuss with the dealer. Love this car. Got it on the Thursday before Memorial Day and I already have 1024 miles racked up running to a baseball torunament with my son over the weekend. Well, less then the 11 it had when I bought it. You would be surprised by what I got in the trunk with the top down. The big pain was needing something on the bottom.

My information was, it just offered to the coupe owners. That's why when I heard about the roadsterbag I wanted a set so I can travel with the top down.

If you purchased the Crossfire "brand new" meaning you are the first registered owner, and your window sticker has "Touring Gear" listed on it, then you should receive a set. Check with your dealer, although they may be clueless like mine was. You can also call Gerry Clawson at 314-692-0717 she should be able to tell you as she handles all the Crossfire luggage for TRG.

Thanks SnowTop57. It does say Touring Gear on the sticker and I am the 1st registered user. Having a contact to call is more then I expected.

Much appreciated.

Unbelievable, Purchased car on 5/22/2008 and got the luggage delivered from Chrysler on 6/3/2008. Had to do nothing.

Luggage is way cool.

I purchased a 06 crossfire in December. It had 16000 miles on it. I have had a great time with it so far. When I purchased the sports car I didn't realize that the Limited Edition came with luggage when it was new. I have been trying find a set, there are 3 pieces to the set. My wife actually went on Ebay to see if she could locate some luggage and she did. I participated in the biding and it ended tonight. The luggage went for $356.00. It was really good looking and I was ready to go for it in the biding, however, I contacted the dealer where I purchased the crossfire and I am meeting with the owner tomorrow to see what we can do to get me a set of luggage. Wish me luck. The luggage is very good looking. All 3 pieces have the crossfire logo on them. It appears by the pictures on Ebay that one piece is a pull along and the other two are tote bags. I would not settle for anything less.
I will keep you posted on my venture to purchase the luggage.

I checked with the dealer on the luggage. It was used but looked like it was new! After a very pleasant conversation the owner let me have the luggage at " no cost" to me. I couldn't believe it!! However, I have purchased two cars from his dealership. In my humble opinion he did the right thing!!!

Happy Crossfire motoring

I call and enquired about the luggage this morning. I was told it was discontinued after 2006. So my 2007 does not qualify. They did try and sell me a set for over $600. Told them thanks but no thanks!

I have a set in a still unopened box, I would be willing to part with for $350 plus shipping.

hmm bought a 2006 roadster this March with only 5000km so less than 4000 miles or even less than 3000 miles. There where no luggage set included. Have to call the former owner to see if he knows where they are, or if he even has received them.

But is it only for the USA cars' or do you think it would have also been for the European market.

I would definitely go for those bags. I am just leaving for a roadtrip in Europe (4 weeks of pleasure top down) next month.

If you have the info, I would appreciate it thx.

Sheers
