Best $35 I've ever spent...
I just bought my 05 Roadster about a month ago. As soon as I got it i took it to my local 5 star dealer (westoaks Chrysler in Southern Ca) for repair of some minor warranty issues. I was very happy with the level of service i received from this dealership and decided to show my gratitude. I went down to a local pizza chain and bought 6 medium pizzas for about $5 dollars each (plus tax) anyway, i brought the pies back to the dealership and split them up between my service advisor, the techs and parts department.
my advisor was sooo greatful, and he expressed how happy and surprised the techs were as well. Now, i bought these guys lunch to say thanks for a job well done, i honestly didnt expect anything in return. But, from that point on, my car was always given a little extra special treatment. i wont say what those "extras" are...I dont wanna ruin a good thing, but, lets just say me and my car are known to everyone in service and I never worry that my baby won't get A+ treatment. moral of the story is... That these folks are people who arent used to being treated with appreciation, in fact, most of them (especially advisors) have to deal with enraged customers that feel they are getting shafted by the rigid rules of a large corporation (like chrysler). Most of the time, these poor guys are limited in what they can do without fear of being chewed out or fired. So folks, try a little kindness and humanity. Not just for the people that take care of your most prized possesions, but for everyone you meet. I promise, your investment will pay dividends many times over. :D |

Good advice, it is usually the things one does out of the goodness of your heart that come back to you many times over.
some might dissagree, but I believe it is a pretty good philosophy to live by |

Savings was probably $5000 over the remaining life of the warranty. |
