Default A New Ride Again

Thanks to the MANY contributors in various areas in this forum...I am the proud driver of a "drives like new" 2005 Blaze Red Roadster!!

There's Andrew...who provided great input on my brake pad swap...(talk about a breeze!!!) I think my front wheels had pretty much turned black on the inside! Then "ppro" who actually provided some great ...and very personal assistance during my stereo installation...(I finally got it man. THANX!!!) Then there's "NeverEnough", who suggested a steering damper replacement for many owners. This was easier than I anticipated...and the best $20.00 I ever spent on a car. Just remember to turn the wheels to each corner. LOL! Before the install, my car was all over the place.....I have to say that the SRT6 I had before was the same way. If only had known back then. Anyway, the car drives as if I am the first owner now! And for some reason, it appears that everyone else knows it too. I cleaned her up a bit...anticipating the forecast...and she is looking pretty damn good. All I need is a wind deflector...but that can wait until spring.

I have to say that I am very proud to be able to drive down the road with the top down today (77 degrees here today) for about 100 miles of random driving...with great tunes playing from my new head unit....and arrive back at home with clean front wheels!!! Thanks to you all!!!

I want to say to the forum members that don't know that collectively there are some pretty sharp folks associated with the forum. And just about everything you can imagine to do with your car has been done by someone else....just search around and I guarantee you'll find it.

Thanks everyone. Now, I'm starting my search for a unique wind deflector.

Thanks to all!!! I didn't mean to make it sound like a new purchase for me. I've had her for a while....I just got all the right goodies in place to make her feel new again. I bought her months ago to be my weekend car...but she's more like a daily driver now. I haven't driven my CLK since I installed the steering damper.

I can't believe how different the ride is.....it's literally night and day.
