Default New Owner - What Mods Should I Do First?

Hey guys and gals.

I just recently purchased a 2005 XFire Roadster and I was wondering which mods the experts would recommend for me to spice up my ride.

I have read through many posts and I am thinking about the mods below first. Let me know what you think.....

Pimped Out Mods:
Light Bulb Upgrades (Which Bulbs are the meanest looking?)
Wind Restrictor with Etched Graphics and LED Lit (http://dynamicautoconcepts.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ID=3) - these look badass! - Kind of pricy though.
Debadging - I would like to keep the Crossfire text on the back, but get rid of the Chrysler Logos. Has anyone tried this?
Any others that look tight on this car?

Performance Mods:
Computer Chip - Is this worth it?
Any other inexpensive mods that can enhance the performance?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a pic of my ride. Of course having my top down while my top is down will probably get me a few looks as well.

The front of mine is all white/blue. 5000K HID's for low beams and fog lights and "white" LED"s for the side markers and eyebrows.

I'm waiting for delivery of 4500K Halogens to replace the high beams. DO NOT put HID's there.

I also installed Stealth bulbs for all of the turn signals-no "egg yolk".

Voyager:

Did you have to change the plastic lenses on your eyebrows and side markers or did the Red Crossfire come with the white plastic? I would like to change those out right away.

I think that I will do the Stealth bulbs as well. I hate the orange look of the originals.

XOXO

Those do look pretty cool.

They would compliment the LED lit Wind Restrictor pretty nicely as well.

Very Sexy!

First thing I would do is put on the Rotex Gold brake pads on your front brakes unless of course you enjoy cleaning brake dust. All the other mods are just to personalize the car to your tastes. Of the mods I did and thought were the best were the Mercedes Benz engine cover and the rear valance diffusers. Enjoy your car.

Sorry, the clear side markers are rare and pricey. Euro-only, but you can find them if you look hard,

Go for the rest!

First thing I did the first time it arrived home was a short antenna. BTW I have an extra set of clear side markers. Mine is an European version, although I live in Mexico. Hope it helps. Welcome aboard.

Yes ECU tuning is well worth it, Not Chips. I don't know how much your into performance but I'm a fan of the new TVT MB cover/intake, looks great. As for the debadging, you should try emblems to cover the Chrysler symbols. Like these, https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ead.php?t=7332
And pretty much anything you want for this car will be a little more expensive then normal because it is a Mercedes ( a well hidden one)
