1st I've ever seen

As I was driving home from work today in my Ram I glanced over and spotted a SILVER Crossfire roadster in the opposide directions turn lane. I've never seen a true silver Crossfire in person...........just SSB's. I thought I would share, that is all. :)

Re: 1st I've ever seen

I'm pretty sure that color was only for sale on the "2008" Crossfires. I have never seen one in real life but have heard of it. I guess it was Chrysler's??? attempt at refreshing the car.

I have a 2008 Limited and its color is Sapphire Silver Blue Met Clear Coat. I can't see any blue in it maybe that is what you saw. The only other close color they made to Silver is Machine Grey Crystal Pearl.

THere were silvers. They were rare. I almost bought an 05 when I was looking. They are actually pretty nice looking but the reason that I passed on the one that I was looking at was because the dealer said that it was really not in the best condition and drove not as well. It was a chrysler exec car.

I have however yet to see one on the road.

There is indeed a "true' silver. I saw it at a dealer when getting my car fixed. Took a pic on my cell phone but didn't turn out well so I deleted it.

It isn't anything like a SSB at all, just a real, bright, true silver. Looks awesome.

I JUST saw a Silver coupe in D.C. this evening. Its a nice color, but in my opinion, it is blah. None of the silver highlights show up. Just my 2 Cents.

I think the last of the 08's were that color. I saw a roadster at the Cleveland Auto Show a few weeks ago that was silver.

There was one at Junction Auto in Chardon a while back, don't know if they still have it.

Park next to any silver car in a parking lot, then look at your car next to it. You'll definitely see the blue.

I have a base coupe because I do not really like the look of the silver accents (and it weighs a little less), but...
with this silver, the accents are truly understated, I think it looks great, would be even better with some tinted windows to set it off.

J,

your ride is blacked out and his ride is silved out.

The softened tone of the silver on silver is something that I liked as well and I almost purchased one but The sapphire blue metalic is close enough and I loke the small accents of the silver.

Re: 1st I've ever seen

One of the rides at Woodward last summer was a silver roadster, owned by a Chrysler sales exec. Real nice guy and a pretty car. It was his company car and it was coming off exec lease last fall and I thought about buying it, but my son wanted a coupe. It is almost the same shade of silver as the windshield surround -- there's not much color separation. I suspect he either kept it or traded it -- it had real low mileage and was mint.
