Well, drive the boat around for a week or two. Then get back behind the wheel of the roadster and see if you really want to sell.

I'll bet not!

Well I'm sure that's good advice, however they serve two completly different functions for me.

Actually, I've recently driven a couple of Thunderbirds, and although they don't hold a candle to the way my XF handles, they are none the less great looking roadsters, and seem to be holding their value much better. Don't know though...just thinking.

Any thoughts on this ??

Joe:

More than likely it would be an 04 or 05 T-Bird.

I dont know how many Canadians are on this forum, but when I see SHHD selling his Crossfire in the US for $16K with very low mileage and compare that to the price that same car would bring in Canada, I have blood pressure issues.
I mean we are getting screwed around by the governments and dealers on a car that is no longer made and to make sure we get screwed the company voids , the guarantee on imports.

I dont know where the hotbed of Xfires for sale is in Canada but it is not in Quebec. Maybe Ontario or BC but I follow the adds all the time and the prices are incredible. Every time I talk about importing one, I get all the friends with the '' better not go there''.

Dont know if a broker would be worth the money, you know sort of door to door.
Don't want to divert the thread but I think this might be interesting.
Any thoughts???

There are a few threads that talk about importing a car from the US, use search and find them, the following are two such threads and are pretty informative.

I will do that. Thanks pal.

Just a note, I visit a lot of other automotive forums. No other forum that I have seen is as informative or helpful as ours.

Thanks to all.

I will someday sell my Crossfire but only to buy a newer lower mileage one.
Never can see myself not owning at least one.
The sweetest car I will ever own !!!
