Have you sold your XF
I have an 06 yellow ltd roadster with less than 8,000 miles on the clock. I have just purchased another vehicle and am considering If I should sell my XF. Anyone still hanging on the forum that sold their XF and regret it ?

Wish I could.. got it when I was 16.. parents say no way!! Unless I pay for all of it! (Which should be the case, but i'm in school right now so... no money!)
I want to move on from the 2 seater sports coupe. It would be nice having a bigger luxury car, i'm done being 16 and trying to drag race others at the stop light. My car of choice would probably be a lincoln MKZ..

There are guys on here who are 70 and still kids. I thought you were smarter than this, to say you are growing up, then in the same breath, to say you wanted to go from the Cross to a 'luxury' ford, I am confused for sure....

It sucks wanting to drive somewhere and you can't because you only have one other seat. I also like nice things (hence the XFire)..
I also don't like having to put premium fuel, 80$ oil changes, and $1,000 tires on my car every year..
And besides, I really like the mkZ... not sure why, just do..!
BUT, enough of the thread hijacking. It's easy to label me as a "snob" or a "spoiled kid"...i'm sure many would've killed to be in the position I am with such gracious parents, but, not everyone knows my whole life story.
Hmmm. I would be upset if I had to sell. I have a "luxury" car (an Audi A6) and prefer to drive the XF in the summer. If I wanted a Lincoln, I would drive my wife's Mercury Milan which is a debadged, less featured version of the same car. No where near the fun of the A6 or the XFs.
I tried selling our white coupe last year but up here in farm/Dodge Ram country I only had one semi-serious looker.
We gave up & now the '04 is my wife's car - so be it. It was killing us anyways & besides, my wife was hoping no one would be interested.
She got her wish.
The SRT will probably NEVER go away; even if I have to stick it in a barn somewhere. Odds are my kids will inherit it

It was very difficult to sell my Limited Coupe XF. I loved that car....I'm still falling in love with the replacement....an SRT6 Roadster....luckily I only have a one car garage. If I had a 2 car garage I would have 2 Aero Blue Crossfires...It is never easy to get over your first love.
I actually sold my Limited Roadster last week. No regrets, but I will likely get another this winter. I went and test drove a drop top SRT6 and fell in love with that all over again. So, I am just saving for the next SRT.
For your assessment info...I sold it for $15K with 35,000 on the odometer.
