Where is the brake lamp relay located?

I'm almost sure that that's whats causing my issue. None of the brake lights work, but the turn signals all do. What do I do? Can anybody help?

Re: Where is the brake lamp relay located?

Most cars have a brake switch located by the brake pedal somewhere. I don't have access to my book to see about the crossfire. Look for the manuals in the forum to see where it is. Check to see if it works or is out of adjustment.

Re: Where is the brake lamp relay located?

would anything bad happen if I change the brake lamp relay with keyless entry relay? I dont have an extra relay and I am not sure if the problem is caused by the relay or the pedal switch...(both of the brake lights dont work, tail lights do work)

Re: Where is the brake lamp relay located?

examine the writing on each relay - if they match, no problem.

Re: Where is the brake lamp relay located?

I switched them but the brake lights still dont work so I guess it is the switch :/ :headache:

edit: I feel so dumb....bulbs do look perfect but once I check them with a voltmeter, they were blown....new bulbs, problem solved :.( 5min task
