We started from about a fifty five mile an hour roll, it doesn't look like it but Rudy actually did try and take me. He gave me a three, two, one count down and hit it. I waited until I saw his car move and then I jumped on it. The video is a bit deceiving because it doesn't look like we were moving all that fast. Believe me Rudy probably wishes that we weren't! :rolleyes:

This car is a FREAKING BEAST! Sorry Rudy but I told you when we started this project that I didn't want to be last anymore; thanks for fixing that problem for me! - LOL!

I know this was bitter sweet for Rudy; he was instrumental in building this monster and the monster ended up spanking him BAD! - LOL! And for All those uninformed; Rudy's car is no slouch; he has a seriously modded SRT SIX (the fastest six I've ever driven) and we were both really surprised at how much faster my car is.

In any event I owe this awesome beast to Rudy (Accelerated Industries), Rob (NeedsWings) and Marcin (Speed Driven). Without these guys I would have just a plain yellow limited Roadster. Instead now I have the fastest Crossfire around (well at least for now); this is without a doubt the fastest vehicle I have ever owned. It is just plain awesome!

Rudy; my friend there is no need to be bummed that I spanked you (Really BAD! - snicker snicker - He-He ;) ). You know it was your efforts and knowledge that built this beast (besides you are the only one other than me that has access to the keys!) :D

Well at least for now - YELLOW IS THE FASTEST COLOR! AND Accelerated Industries builds MONSTERS! Call Rudy and get your Frankenstien Monster next! You won't be disappointed! Honestly I can't get this stupid grin off of my face...

I knew you guys have been working on this for some time.
It looked like Rudy went into limp mode.

The "Pollito Lento" sure opened that lead fast! Congratulations on the car. It looks like you have a low 11 or high 10 second car now ..... if it hooks and holds together. Super happy for you and the supporting cast. I can feel the pride all the way down here.

Just as a point of reference, modified E55s are running have run high 10s (granted, there was more than just engine modifications done to those)...and the E55 weighs about 1000lbs more than a SRT6 Coupe..

So if we all sit here and bench race, there is a strong possibility of a low 10s 1/4 in that car...but not for a while, until he gets a full roll cage, etc in that beast.

Rudy, it has been great chatting with you on the phone over the past few months about this. Glad to see it all came together. Give me a call one night and we'll catch up.

Outstanding job and massive kudos to all involved. I would REALLY love to see some times to compare to other vehicles... times such as 0-60 and 1/4 of course (providing you get decent traction) and of course a 60-130 sprint...

Looks like Rudy was sitting still. Which REALLY tells a story, because Rudy's car would make most others look like THEY are sitting still. I bet that thing is a missile.

Beyond awsome! Congrats Paul and the build team for pushing the limits. I also would like to see the preformance numbers for this car. Add the 0 to 100 to 0 standard to the list. It will be very interesting to see how this cars #s compare to the elite "supercars" of the world. Rudy, you are da man.

Paul, I will be up the weekend of November 12th. Since it is Wisconsin, I am sure there will be a lot of snow on the ground, and no driving, but i would still like to see her. I need to make sure Rudy did as good of a job as I would have LMAO :D ;)

I was thinking about that too... then realized that with the shorter gearing in the N/A cars, he'll likely only see ~170ish.

For reference, BrianBrave ran right at 170 with his modded six.

In Paul's case, HP isn't the limiting factor anymore, but rather gearing.

Which I'm sure he has a fix for ;)

FANTASTIC!!!!! this has been a long long time coming which was much deserved with all the issues along the way and im glad i was able to help, i have more goodies sitting here waiting for you guys (ill call ya tomorrow about this coming weekend).

i too am very anxious to see the car on the dyno or track but i also understand paul wants some seat time in the car now since he hasn't been able to drive it all year and isn't in a hurry to find the weak link quite yet and i totally respect that.

in the video the car just runs away from rudy's, im expecting that we may see jeff's record broken this fall

btw, whats the quickest ET for any amg55 motor? cause this just got stuffed into the lightest body yet!

Rob, As per DragTimes the fastest times for a AMG55 motor (without nitrous) are 10.776@135.682 (E55) and 10.898@127.510 (SL55)

...that record could definitely stand to fall as well as Jeff's record.

This car is an amalgamation of parts from different cars and I can assure you that gearing is NOT going to be an issue. Keeping it stuck to the pavement will be a whole different story though when you start pegging the speedo! :D
