Unhappy urgent roof help

hello there when the roof goes up or down the roof cover does it's party trick, however there is a flap either side of the roof cover that folds and unfolds, but
I have noticed on mine one works fine and
the other one needs me to either fold
it or unfold it!
has anyone had this problem

I,m not sure but I think that the one that is not working, got stuck and broke, look in the sticky parts of the threads and download the parts and service manuals, to see what you may need. I think you will have to replace the broken flap with a new one, or their may be cables that drive the flaps and it backed out or got jammed up, this is based on from me working on the SAAB convert tops which were also made by MB which are very simular in design and operation, allthough I have not had the pleasure of working on our tops as of yet. Hope this helps some.

Hey Kyle,

I have exactly the same problem. Did you manage to fix the roof? Was it a big job?

Cheers!
Gavin
